Off to the Baltic sea!
Before taking off for a weekend spin to the Baltic Sea, all I packed was my bikini and a friend. I’ve only been there once, but I knew I would be back at some point. Boundless fields, dunes, the sea, a fresh breeze and a beach that you can walk on with your bare feet – it’s everything a city dweller needs every now and again to recover from urban life. Nothing is as relaxing as cycling around and trudging through the sand all day. However, It is equally tiring, so at night time you are quite happy to collapse into a comfy bed.
My Baltic apartment in Klockenhagen was located in an idyllic small settlement only five kilometres from the beach, a distance easily covered by bike. Waldemar, the host, also rents out bikes, which is very handy.
Holiday apartment near the Baltic Sea, 43€/night
So to anyone who is looking for a time out, a deep and relaxing sleep and beautiful nature: Baltic Sea ahoy!
