Notting Hill Carnival 24th – 26th August 2019
It comes every summer. One of the world’s largest street carnivals: Notting Hill Carnival. Each year, close to one million people attend this celebration of Caribbean heritage on the streets of Notting Hill. Traditional reggae, meringue, calypso, rumba, and zouk music. And street vendors selling foods like seasoned jerk chicken, callaloo and traditional goat stew.

MAMMOTH LAKE

Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluespalooza Mammoth Lake 1st – 4th August 2019
Close to the Yosemite National Park in the cool Eastern High Sierra off Highway 395. A music fest which blends traditional blues with R&B, soul, and rock. The Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo Band and ZZ Ward are part of the huge line up. And of course beer: 55 beer makers such as nearby June Lake Brewing and Santa Rosa–based Seismic Brewing.

The world’s Tango capital hosts the most famous Tango festival in the world. From all over the world, visitors converge on the Argentina’s capital to attend concerts, perfomarces, classes and milongas. And of course the Mundial de Tango, the world’s most important international tango dance competition.
