Mallorca!
Mallorca is by far the largest island in the Baleares archipelago and has a population of over 860,000 people, but almost half the people are living on the island capital, Palma. Mallorca has always attracted Germans and British tourists and has often been associated to a mass tourism resort, however, the fact is that the island has something to offer for everyone: entertainment, culture, nature, beaches …
Undoubtedly Palma de Mallorca is a must go place for the culture minded travellers, where one can enjoy a visit to Cathedral of Santa Maria, known as La Seu, and a visit to Castillo de Bellver, one of the few circular castles. Moreover, from which you will enjoy the most astounding views of the city.
Another interesting visit is the famous Cuevas del Drach in Porto Cristo. This is a set of deep caves that can be visited; while there check the daily concertos at the underground lake.
The towns of Inca, Manacor and Pollença are also good place to travel to but we would advise there to rent a car which will allow you to get around freely.
If you are looking for accommodation, check out this beautiful apartment in Mallorca, near the city centre of Palma. If you prefer something quieter, you will like this penthouse in Puerto Portals with exceptional sea views.
One last thing: You cannont go to Mallorca without trying their famous buns. They are one of the most famous culinary delights and you can buy them everywhere.
