Staying in London for the 9flats Host Meet-Up
Some of the 9flats team went to London on Wednesday for one of our regular host meet-up events.
In case you don’t know what they are, these meet-ups are small events allowing us to meet hosts in person and for hosts to meet other hosts to ask questions and share information. And of course, let it not be forgotten, also for both hosts and 9flats to have some fun together.
I’m staying in a 9flats apartment in the Islington district of London. Of course the host had lots of questions about 9flats and so for him it is good that a 9flats staff member is staying with him as he gets personal contact to discuss using the 9flats service and of course, we are always happy to get feedback from hosts on ways to improve our service.
My self-catering apartment is perfect for one person and is in Islington and about 10 minutes walk from Finsbury Park underground and overground stations.
The apartment is on a busy, main road, but as my accommodation is far back from the street it is blissfully quiet. The room includes a bed, a table to eat at or work on, a kitchen area with fridge, washing machine, oven, crockery and utensils; there is a small separate bathroom and I have an enormous television to keep me amused.
Don’t forget either as a host or guest that the London Olympics is coming up next year, so properties will be booked out long in advance, but also there will be much demand for available places to stay, so get your apartment or spare room listed now!
