Notting Hill Carnival
This year, the largest street festival in Europe takes place on 28 and 29 August 2011. The end of August will once again be steaming hot in London, especially when the Brazilian dancers shake their hips!
The celebration takes place just like in Rio, with colourful costumes, exotic food and Carribean rhythms.
Each year on the last weekend in August, the legendary Notting Hill Carnival takes place, and attracts 1.5 million visitors. We’ve been there and it was great!
If the flight to Rio is too expensive, but you still want some Brazilian flair, London is the place to go.
